Gracious God

 





“Give us help from trouble: For vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” Psalm 108:12-13 KJV


When believers cringe and crash into cowardice before their enemies, they inadvertently admit that their belief in God is pointless, powerless, and painful. Unfortunately, the enemies’ strategy of dispossession has been unchanged from the beginning of time. He has always wanted any man to dismiss human reliability on the inherent power of dominion that has been endowed. That man is possibly able to get something done without depending on the grace and power of God is the fundamental principle of satanic deception. For example, Satan offered Adam and Eve freedom, but they ended up falling from grace and their garden of dominion. And even today, many believers have fallen and they are constantly falling from grace into the gutter of sins, deception and satanic manipulations. Whereas, God has always been sufficient as the only supplier of every believer’s grace. With God’s grace, believers are privileged to access (1) godliness in their character, (2) righteousness through consecration, (3) authority over calamities, (4) comfort in chaos, (5) integrity amidst compromises, (6) obedience to commandments, (7) understanding during confusion, and (8) steadfastness against challenges. Therefore, whenever believers take courage and confidence in the Lord and Saviour GOD, they’ll receive grace to tread upon their high mountains and strategically possess their possessions.

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalm 1 : 1 - 2 , 6 KJV The problem with the concept of New Year resolutions is that the resolutions are results focussed, including new walkout goals, new diet habits, new relationship models for family, social, and workplace partners, etc. We know that these results resolutions are hard to keep and maintain with the best of human strategies.
