Gracious Gift
“ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:4-6, 8 KJV There is no controversy on the fact that the greatest gift on earth is grace from God to man - that is God’s righteousness at Christ’s expense. And, the greatest gift on earth from man to man at its best will often want to undermine the power of grace, if unchecked.
