Dross Dropping
“Take away the dross from silver, And it will go to the silversmith for jewelry.” Proverbs 25:4 NKJV http://bible.com/114/pro.25.4.nkjv Low melting point materials represent the natural attraction for dross; but the relevance of silver also suffer in the possible association with dross. Unfortunately, the silversmith is not often interested in a dedicated working on dross-rich silver. Likewise, God demands a self-removal of dross (pride, personal preferences, prayer-needlessness), that attract itself to all His potential servants. This attraction lead to unproductive services, and lack of positioning for divine enablement. Pride abuses the provision of grace, personal preferences misuses the purpose of grace, while prayer-needlessness disuses the privileges of grace in the life of believers.
