Purposeful Plans

  “ All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.” Proverbs 16 : 2 - 3 NKJV “ All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes” implies that ideas do not necessarily suggest purpose. In the actual fact, the human heads are full of purposeless plans, and guided with selfishness, arrogance, and all forms of unrighteousness. When king Ahab responded to king Jehoshaphat’s suggestion to consult the prophet of the Lord about his plan with  “ There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord; but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil ( I Kings 22 : 8 )”, the danger of purposeless plan was exposed. Harmless Hostility

  “ Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city. ”” Acts 18 : 9 - 10   There is no doubt that the torment in fear hinders many people from divine accomplishments; and the hindrances are strategically orchestrated by the enemy against the purpose of God. Thankfully, Paul paid no attention to the harmless hostility from the demonic agents in obedience to the divine counsel “ I have many people in this city ”. When God says “ Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city ”, it implies that this declaration becomes greater than the greatest grandstanding, wiser than the wisest wickedness, mightier than the mightiest manipulation, and higher than the highest hostility.
