Anointed Attention

   “ And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. ” Acts 16 : 25 - 26 KJV When Charles Haddon Spurgeon described the power of prayer as ‘the slender nerve that moves the muscles of omnipotence’ , he simply implied the anointed attention between the natural man and the almighty God. By Paul and Silas’ prayer and singing praises to God, the foundation of the prison was subjected to a great earthquake, the prison doors were opened, the prisoners’ chains and shackles were loosed, the entire household of the jailor were saved from sin, and the magistrates that persecuted and imprisoned them were broken and reduced to beggars.
