In spite of the clear limitations in the forced fears, man is often so gripped by this fear; and would freely disobey God in order to cultivate the favour of fellow men. Oh! that men can solemnly hold the preacher’s conviction, particularly in times of difficulty and the pressure of life, “ I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever ”.
