Free Fear

  “I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Man-denominated fear is forced by many important but transient factors in life, like position, privileges, wealth, beauty, power, etc. Whereas, God-denominated fear is freestyle and permanent. In spite of the clear limitations in the forced fears, man is often so gripped by this fear; and would freely disobey God in order to cultivate the favour of fellow men. Oh! that men can solemnly hold the preacher’s conviction, particularly in times of difficulty and the pressure of life, “ I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever ”. Purposeful Pursuits

“I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/ecc.3.10-11.nkjv Just as purposeless pursuits are not necessarily defined by an absence of enjoyment and material enrichment, purposeful pursuits are equally not necessarily decimated by the absence of difficulties and challenges. A purpose-driven life is not primarily concerned about the immediate effects of his engagement; he is rather disturbed by the remote consequences of a possible disengagement, especially given the favourable time and chances at his disposal. Whenever God permits the co-existence of time, space, and material resources towards a good course, a pursuit based on exigency is preferred to the pursuit of excellence.
