Grace Grants

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. ”” Galatians 2 : 20 - 21 NKJV Given the ever dynamic standards in systems of the world, everyone knows the deficiencies of personal goodness grants in customer satisfaction, family prosperity, and political vote of confidence. Even when king Hezekiah appeared to get a reward by his personal goodness grant from the Lord, the grant was quickly messed up by his extension to  Merodach-Baladan - the son of Baladan, king of Babylon. And like Apostle Paul corrected the expressed hypocrisy in the use of personal goodness grants in the Galatian church, many believers today struggle with the pollution of grace with their goodness grants, through diplomacy, charisma, generosity...

Loved Life

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. ”” Galatians 2 : 20 - 21 NKJV Loosed lives often fake liberalism as freedom of expression and privilege to be controlled by societal influences. But in actual fact, this fake liberalism is an expression of an absence of the love that matters, i.e., God’s love. God’s love brings grace through the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. So, when Apostle Paul shared the testament of his loved life as “ I have been crucified with Christ “, it confirms that a loved life is a crucified life; and not a copied life. Unfortunately, in our fast-paced world with complex worldviews on diverse subjects, a copied life is faced with complicated opinions on diverse cultural, political, an...

Faceless Faith

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.us/114/gal.2.20.nkjv It is almost impossible for any successful minister in the ministry to build respect without recognition. Faith in Christ without the face of the Chaplain is almost impossible and not practice-able in any charismatic setting. Unfortunately, the ‘I’ in Christians is becoming more significant than the identity of Christ in all relationships. When Paul noticed the danger of the faith in the face of the icons against the faith in Christ, he deliberately rebuked Peter in order to spare the vulnerable converts. No doubt, faith in our public appearances and the make-belief lifestyle often rob believers of the public announcement of the character of Christ’s love and graceful relationships. Little wonder why Christ himself dec...

Divine Influence

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me". (Galatians 2:20 NKJV) Those who have experienced the privilege of inter-cultural or intercontinental relationships understand the challenges with maintaining a single lifestyle. Without sparing the danger in Apostle Peter's hypocritical disposition, Paul underscores the secret of winning the war against pressure to belong - divine influence. If Christ takes the centre stage of influencing our actions and inaction, we would be able to dampen the pressure to fall for the majority. Even when we move about, our conviction shouldn't roam around, with divine influence as the only anchor for the soul.
