Marvellous Might
“ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; ” 2 Corinthians 10 : 3 - 5 KJV If the best of might in the world is men’s might, then we would have been limited to the different shades of bullies, oppressions, arrogance, and victimization. Nations with the symbolism of men’s might in the scriptures include Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Midian, etc, with the avalanche of their chariots. Unfortunately, when the weapons of our warfare are limited to men’s might, they are readily wired to scheme against the counsels of God.
