Spirit Sprinting

 “Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cæsarea.” Acts 8:29, 39-40 KJV

Evangelism and soul-winning according to Phillip represents a unique lifestyle of spirit sprinting. Yet, it is the expected normal lifestyle of children of God: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14)”. Unfortunately, we live in a digital world of high-speed 5G internet connectivity with huge data sharing and artificial intelligence; and then think worthless about the capabilities of the lifestyle of spirit sprinting. Little wonder that why we now live, dine, and wine with our world without ever going near them with the gospel message. Whereas, with the spirit sprinting through believers’ professional practices and social lifestyles, it is absolutely possible to get everyone in our world interested in the message of Jesus’ love and compassion as the only solution to life’s challenging circumstances. A life that listens to Jesus attentively and lives for Jesus affectionately is wired to preach about Jesus effectively, whatever the subject matters, the season motions, and the station methods.

Omni- Obedience

  “ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled .” II Corinthians 10 : 4 - 6 NKJV There is no better reference to the scriptural punishment of all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled than omni- obedience. In Apostle Paul’s correction of the Corinthian believers who wrestle authority with him, he admonished believers to focus on the omnipotence of absolute submission to the authority of Christ through our individual fellowship with God.
