Great Gain
“ And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.” Mark 5 : 18 - 20 KJV If possession by the devils is a great loss, possession by the Lord Jesus Christ is definitely a great gain. Unfortunately, those who haven’t grasped the scope of the great gain are necessarily possessed with the fear of invasion. When the people of the country of the Gadarenes initially encountered the deliverance of the man previously possessed by the Legion of evil spirits, the scriptures say “ And they began to pray him (Jesus) to depart out of their coasts ” because of their fear of reprisals from the power of darkness.
