Vain Vision

“ Why do the heathen rage, And the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, And cast away their cords from us .” Psalm 2 : 1 - 3 KJV When Apostle Paul defended elsewhere his pursuit of the victorious vision before king Agrippa with “ I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision” (Acts  26:19), he indirectly confronted the penchant of the kings of the earth for vain vision. The root of disobedience and rebellion in the world is the self-inflicted imagination of the heart against the counsel and commandment of the Lord. Unfortunately, as it was with the fall of man at the garden of Eden, so it is now with human advances in knowledge, position of authority, and material prosperity. Whereas, it is always a vain vision for anyone (especially followers of Christ and those who claim the understanding of the will of God) to diso...

Deep Delight

“ Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. ” Psalms 2 : 8 NKJV Surely, the New Year brings fresh opportunities and the prospect of great possessions. Likewise, the possibilities of diverse interests and alternative sources for guidance and instruction are enormous. The most important question is ‘what is the deep delight for the best possession’?  Only those who can find the answer in Jesus are safe. Unfortunately, the people of the earth are already plagued with deep displeasure through their penchant for vain things. Like it happened to Cain in the Old Testament and king Herod in the New Testament, “ Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? (Psalms 2 : 1 )” couldn’t spare anyone who hasn’t been redeemed from the fall and wouldn’t embrace the express revelation in the divine counsels. Notwithstanding, the New Year still offers everyone a fresh opportunity to access “ The nations for ...

Holy Hill

”“ Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him .“ ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬, ‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ With depravity, simple questions like “ Where are you? ”, “ Why are you angry? ”, and “ Where is Abel your brother? ” have turned complex. The nakedness of man got exposed, leaving the fallen man with a mere boost of his own intelligence, ingenuity, and interpretation. Even after visiting Calvary for remission of sin, the hypocritical hill is still capable of robbing man the access to the holy hill of Zion. Whereas, in Emmanuel , we have a wholesomeness of grace for the believers’ victorious living, including the saving grace, strengthening grace, and the sustaining grace. And by a daily visit to the holy hill, simple questions like “ Where are you? ”, “ Why are you angry? ”, and “ Where is Abel your brother? ” remain sincerely simple. The holy hill...

Blessed Belief

“Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ As we start the engagement with the activities outlined for the New Year, it is easier to carryover the baggage of last year’s belief system, including the fear of failures based on the perceived might of the system ruled by intimidation, corruption, oppression, and wickedness. When the scriptures asked “ Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? ” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬), God is not only concerned about the fear as vain things generated by wicked people. He is equally concerned about the fear as vain things believed by His wise people. Believers are requested to “ Ask of Me [God] ”, and He will give them The nations for their inheritance. We often ask others people instead of God; and get frustrated when we don’t receive because we really do not trust God. Whereas, we must ask God by faith and not fear the nations and their plot...

Father’s Fellowship

“Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭ 2:11-12 ‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/psa.2.11-12.nkjv   Fruitful fellowship in life and family is mostly premised on the provision of the material things for entertainment, comfort and pleasure. Unfortunately, the desire for freshness in fellowship often lead to the misconception of the true of object of fellowship. The material things of the world have attracted the fellowship of the kings, the noble men, and the earthly honourable. Whereas, wisdom teaches the supremacy of a sincere fellowship with the LORD. In fact, fellowship with Christ is synonymous to a fellowship with the Father, for those who finds the reliable way to a fruitful fellowship.

Pleasant Possession

http://bible.us/psa2.8.nkjv Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. ‎ The earth is filled with beautiful places that reveals the wonder of creation. The wealth of every nation remains the strength of her possession. Needless to mention that the superiority of the King or President ‎of any nation is based on the strength of the nation's possession, economically or politically. Unfortunately, the desire for material possession often drive man or nation away from God, who is the source of creation. Although religion opens the way for the possession of the ways of God, it cannot replace the possession of God. Whenever man is possessed of God, he possesses the key to the possessions of the Creator of the ends of the earth. Therefore, the secret of pleasant possession is God's possession of person.
