Grain Grind

“ The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him. Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, Yet his foolishness will not depart from him.” Proverbs 27 : 21 - 22 NKJV It is not hilarious that the same grain grind in life produces both a fool and a gold. What is hilarious is that observers are made to see different products from the same process. Life is either a product of faith or a process of facts. Those who relate with it by faith see God in action every time, but those who are motivated by facts are compelled to remain fools because of their direct or indirect denial of the sovereignty of God. For example, in a simple call to service by offering, Abel saw God but Cain merely saw grains; and the rest of the story on foolishness is history. And in our current constitution of life mill, the actions and inaction of people at home and workplaces, and interference with the society, what ar...

Contagious Complaints

“A continual dripping on a very rainy day And a contentious woman are alike; Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, And grasps oil with his right hand.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:15-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/pro.27.15-16.nkjv Consistent focus on a fruitful mission in all project, work, and family life is easy in an atmosphere devoid of contention, contradictions, and conflicts of interest. After all, a self-centred man would rather focus on his lofty dreams, often without regards or considerations for the lazy aspirations of minions around. After all, the world revolves around big dreams and the expression of creativity, until the fellowship begin to entertain the contributions of a contentious woman. However, when the scriptures compare her contentious confrontations to a continuous dripping on a very rainy day, it simply advised the consistent focus of a wise man against contagious complaints. The focus of a wise and purpose-driven man is always on God’s mission, and never...

Crystallized Character

“The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.27.21.nkjv ' Character shines clearly, even in the dark ', says the old adage. Just like the refinement of silver and gold, the environment of heat from the furnace of economic recession, financial hardship, intense persecution, family and marital challenges, etc, merely assist in the clarification of the quality of a man's character. This implies that challenges crystallize character rather than cover it up. It is possible to present a fight for the battle of life with media manipulation rather than character transformation, but true story of life is always told when there is no longer means for media manipulation. Therefore, a purpose-driven life is focused on projects for exploits making, instead of excuse manufacturing. People value what is achieved, irrespective of the discouraging circumstances, more than wha...
