Mercy March

“ O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: Even Sinai itself was moved At the presence of God, the God of Israel. ” Psalm 68 : 7 - 8   The reason why we often consider wilderness experience as a mess march is that we are fixated on our plights and the challenges of dryness. Whereas, “ O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah “ teaches the awakening of the soul to the manifestation of God in the wilderness of life. For example, the over 11 years wilderness experience of David, while awaiting the physical  manifestation of his anointing as the king of Israel, produces the development of skills, the revelation of divine strength for war intelligence, human capacity and empowerment strategies, etc..all in a show of God’s mercy march. And when the psalmist says “ The earth shook, the h...

Greatest Gift

“ The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it: “Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home divides the spoil.” Psalms 68 : 11 - 12 NKJV When Pastor W.F. Kumuyi recently rephrased John 3:16 as the GOSPEL (i.e.,  God gave His Only Son , so no one will Perish but have Everlasting Life ), it left no one in doubt that this gospel is synonymous to the greatest gift. The gospel is always the word of God reserved for every believer’s proclamation by words, lifestyles, and conducts: “ Great was (and still is) the company of those who proclaimed it (the gospel)”. And just as the Word became flesh in Jesus, the word of God is expected to moderate every believer’s principle of daily living, social life engagement, and work ethics. Unfortunately, most believers would readily look away from the word of God when seeking worldly gifts; and thereby subjecting themselves as preys for the enemies’ manipulation. Whereas, every believer’s pr...

Prevailing Prospect

“O God, when You went out before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, Selah The earth shook; The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel” Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The appearance of every circumstance in life carries a clear prospect. For example, the sight of wilderness experience signifies dryness, dreadfulness, and possibly death. Whether the context applies to financial, family, or friendship situations doesn’t matter, the outcomes of wilderness experience are not far-fetched. Notwithstanding, the story always changes to glory when God marches through life’s wilderness experience. The presence of God offers a prevailing prospect of LIGHT to all whose trust is placed on Him. Like He admonished elsewhere “ Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬)”, God’s LIGHT brings the love of God, inspiration from God, grace of God, h...
