Pure Pursuits

“ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him .” Proverbs 30 : 5 NKJV From the seven churches in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, “ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Revelation 2 : 7 )” is definitely an admonition of trust in the purity of God’s words. Unfortunately, in our extremely sophisticated world, digital age, and uncensored social media contents, actions of anyone who wine and dine on the Bible are hardly weighed by scriptural revelations. The ‘not enough’ mindsets beg for public opinions, administrative appeals, social censorship, and political endorsement before an expressed declaration of the words of God can be supported and executed. Whereas, “ Every word of God is pure ” implies that God expects all believers to tenaciously live for ensuring their world comply with the express revelation, no matter the pressure and persecution. Sure Shield

“ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. ” Proverbs 30 : 5 - 6 NKJV Not everyone found a liar in our system, society, and sacred places today is a practicing liar. Unfortunately, while believers put on unnecessary emphasis on their safety and sustenance within the roller coaster of troubles and pains, they ignore the surety and sufficiency of the word of God. Whereas, irrespective of the ...

Pure Partnership

“ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar .” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The privilege to enter into partnership with the Creator of heaven and earth is one of the greatest privileges any man can ever have. And this privilege is bestowed on any redeemed child of God, who is then called into a daily life of fellowship with God through His words. Of course, this privilege does not make the compelling interaction with the world through all its polluting influences and channels go away. Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons why there are many believers, who claim partnerships with God, and even acclaimed preachers of the words of God, add and subtract from the word of God through their words and lifestyles. But the scripture declares “ Every word of God is pure! ”. No matter the challenges of life, the compelling attacks from persecutors, and the competitive influences...
