If anyone appreciates the need for a time-out admonition for the excited and accomplished apostles that just returned from a successful outreach, it would be easy to understand why meeting Jesus is the only solution to every man’s hidden problems. While it is possible that the majority of the multitude that pursued Jesus and His disciples are numbered with those who testified to the mighty works under the ministrations of the apostles, Jesus still “was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd”.
