Spirit Signings

“ While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come? ” Acts 10 : 19 - 21 KJV Those who are familiar with the activities of scouts and their search for sport talents know much about the dilemmas of scout signing. Scouts are mostly interested in their financial selfishness than the vision for the talents’ sportsmanship. Notwithstanding, the engagement of Simon Peter and Cornelius represented a brilliant idea of spirit signings. It shows that when the spirit is allowed to sign up anyone’s engagement in home management, career progression, business partnerships, and social relationships, there would be no room for sentiment, pride, indiscipline, revenge, intolerance, and timidity. Spirit Service

“ While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are seeking you. Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them. ”” Acts 10 : 19 - 20 NKJV Another day and week of service comes with great gratitude to God. Unfortunately, Sunday services without spirit surrendering have always made religion out of every believer’s service renderings. And like the experiences of Peter, spirit services are not our usual Sunday-sunday experiences. The whole of the previous chapter was devoted to Peter’s account of spirit services at Joppa and Lydda. And while resting at Joppa before the next assignment, the spirit beckoned again “ Behold, three men are seeking you. Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them. ” Little wonder Jesus had said earlier “ Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I dep...

Prayer Palace

“ The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth .” Acts 10 : 9 - 11 NKJV Palace is literally a place of power and decision making. But in human context, it is also a symbol of privileges and entertainment. That was why the palace has often accommodated the activities of the devil, indulgences, and frivolities. For example, in spite of the numerous inspirational activities from the palace towards governance during the times of David, King David understood the vulnerability of the palace and the consequences of taking a wrong decision. Notwithstanding, unlike the pleasure palaces, the prayer palace is known for its accuracy, consistency, and divine guidance. Like its usefulness in ...
