Persistent Prayer

“Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart...Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:1, 8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/luk.18.1,8.nkjv One of the reasons why man lose the appetite for a sustained prayer pattern is the conception that prayer is merely the medium for turning pain into pleasure. As soon as food, fame, and fortune are derived from the altar, faith in the altar of prayer becomes lost. Whereas, a persistent prayer is possible with both pain and pleasure where there is consistent faith. When Jesus recommended persistent prayer life, it is not primarily because of the need for dealing with our source of pain in life (like the unrighteous judge for the widow woman in His parable). Pain is often a mere catalyst for initiating a call to the prayer altar. A sustained fellowship between man and God is possible through faith.
