And in our days of astronomical increase in knowledge and advanced AI-driven social media contents, anyone can understand the challenges with believers’ scriptural conviction on almost all matters of life. We are no longer dealing with miserable counsellors and advisers, but intelligent machine buddies. Little wonder, we struggle in the secret place of prayer and fellowship; leaving on the life-support system with overwhelming dosage of perverse precepts. Men of few words are mostly expected to be cautious about the consequences of idle or wasteful words. Wasteful words are capable of filling the space of time without adding to the value of time. Therefore, ‎tremendous resources are readily invested by great speakers in order to understand the need of the moment, and to ensure that maximum utilization is given to every speaking opportunity. However, in God's economy, wasteful words do not only end with little productivity. God's Judgment awaits every idle word. Every day represents a precious provision of speaking opportunity for the living. Therefore, the Psalmist provides the lifesaver by recommending the speaking of only the word of Lord. A sincere meditation on the commandment of the Lord, as the first course of the day, enables the speaking of weighty words throughout the day.
