Decisive Deliverance

  “ He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, And it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, And his life shall see the ligh t.”  Job 33 : 27 - 28 KJV While God absolutely delights in the deliverance of the righteous, He passionately desires the deliverance of the wicked and sinners as well. In fact, God’s redemption plan is focussed on a decisive deliverance of the sinful world through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. The decisiveness of this love of God is just as simple as “ …that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ( John 3 : 16)”. “ He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned” implies that there is no discrimination in God’s decisive deliverance. Breath Battle

  ”The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.“ ‭‭Job‬ ‭33‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ One of the best contest rings for the battle of breath is the engagement of Job and his miserable comforters. Everyone of his supposed friends struggles to wrestle the cause of Job’s suffering and predicament with united agreement in the justification of God and the condemnation of Job. Even while Job could not disagree with the justification of God, he was only bold with his refusal to accept the personal condemnation; but he could not underpin the cause. The last man standing in the ring after the futile cross examination of the three friends, Elihu, has even declared in the previous chapter that ” But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding ” (Job‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬). However, he apparently positioned himself as the one with the superior breath, based on his conviction on divine inspiration, in order to attract sympathy and attention. Truthfull...
