Father’s Fables

“ For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased .”” II Peter 1 : 16 - 17 NKJV Human facts and evidence in support of arguments are built upon fables; and we know that increased human knowledge and philosophy have always been instrumental to the development of cunningly devised fables in today’s society and institutions. For example, expedient jurisprudence, political sagacity, and even brilliant management are often controlled by false or fake fables with apparently superior arguments. Little wonders peace, satisfaction and security are elusive in homes, institutional, and societal affairs, strictly built on human fables. But with the Father’s fables, “ This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased “ has ne...

Diligent Disciple

“Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ By recently reclaiming DAVID, i.e., daring ambassador virtuous in dominio n, as an excellent example of the combined thrust for call and election in the Old Testament, PETER equally stood out as a New Testament symbol for persevering example in trust and exceptional resilience . A call into an assignment in life can be general, how the executions of the assignment are worked out under the prevailing circumstances of life, representing a unique election. Therefore, it takes a diligent disciple to work out the details of his call and election on a daily...

Fruitful Faith

“For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ...Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:8, 10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/2pe.1.8,10.nkjv   The closing hours of a man’s life should normally reveal if a cunningly devised fable has been pursued as faith. Unfortunately, it is always risky for anyone to delay the hope for a saving faith to the delicate moments at the dying bed. And there are numerous examples of those who have mistakenly wasted their lives on wrong belief systems. Whereas, with careful reflection on proven conviction at the closing hours, Apostle Peter showed brethren that fruitful faith only start with the faithfulness of God, but it is not sustainable without the faithfulness of man. Therefore, the best way to be sure of your possession of a fruitful faith is by the dilig...
