Due Diligence

Making a choice of investment require a carefully guided understanding of the required calling or vocation. Apart from the cost, in terms of financial and material resources required, the process time represents a significant quota in the investment. However, even in the best of economy and favourable marketplace, breakthrough require the disciple of the flesh - and that is due diligence. Diligence, more than competency, distinguishes professionals; but if combined, the result will be excellent. The flesh is the major source of inertia that the force of diligence is required to contend with. It delights in making excuses and promoting procrastination. While faith verifies right guidance, diligence validates professional and ministerial callings, no matter what the level or source of distractions are. The scriptures say " ...be even more diligent to make your call and election sure ".

Access Point

The world's attention has been shifted to the earthquake in Haiti since last Tuesday, where tens of thousands of residents have been declared dead. While emotions of local and international scenes have been drawn, irrespective of race and religion, and besides few who seem to ascribe the catastrophe to curse, finding the access point to the sense of the present season is difficult. Although the scriptures is clear about apocalyptic events, where earthquake is major, understanding that access point to fruitful relationship with God will never attain a fully-developed mode is essential. There is always room for growth in heralds' relationship with God, especially in times like this. "Why should religious houses and priests suffer most during quakes?", many will wonder. If earthquakes are definitely believed as the scriptures predicted, the focus of the privileged should rather be on finding the access point to love and care for the less-privileged in every quake or cata...
