For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬, ‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Like the ‘Little House on the Prairie ’ by the Ingalls family of the late 19th century, there are pockets of refuge around the world for those who intend to escape the bustling of distraction. But when the challenges of life invited the Psalmist to take the offer of an escape to his mountain, he realized the unattractive corruption in the best of this world’s places of refuge. The refuge of the world may offer temporary pleasure, wealth, and position of authority, even while faith in the Lord appears to be full of delays, disappointments, and discouragement.   “The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭11:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The major difference between waiting on God and hanging out with friends is simply physical. Faith in God’s abiding presence, sustainable manifestation, and future performances is foundational; it often determines how long a believer can handle the pressure to shift ground. Particularly, when the upright in heart are surrounded by the wicked activities of the froward in hearts, the silent questions are easily summarized as ‘Where is God? ’.  No matter how predominant the challenges of life and how fierce the influence of the opposition, the Lord constantly remains in His holy temple. Waiting on God is not only the right thing; it is always the wise thing to do. His eyes has never and will never miss the minuted details about the plights of those who put their trust in Him.

http://bible.us/psa11.3.nkjv If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? The Righteous is redeemed to relate profitably with God and the world. While profitable relationship is expected to promote peace, peaceful relationship can only be built on reliable foundation. Hollow or flash foundations include confidence in material things and on mortal men. ‎Although these foundations can promise temporal comfort and promotion, everlasting comfort and peace are better bargain from all relationships. However, the Righteous can suffer a temporary discomfort as compromise for everlasting comfort. But if the foundations of relationship are not built on things and men but God, the Righteous will do exploits. Unlike flash foundations, only faith in God can flourish in a flash of wickedness.
