The voices of these lords are loud, deafening, and outrightly manipulative. Unfortunately, undiscerning believers fall victim to vociferous voices when the voice of the LORD is allowed to be silenced by their undue attention. It is no longer news that the overarching strategy of the enemy against the righteous is the creation of distraction to the voice of the LORD. Whereas, in any disturbing seasons orchestrated by the vociferous voices of the enemy, believers’ silence is commanded primarily for the righteous to hear the victorious voice of the LORD. The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. ” Psalms 29 : 10 - 11 NKJV “ Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing? ” is always the reality of life struggling with its apparently silent Lord in the midst of storms or floods. Unfortunately, we are readily distracted by the raging storms or flood and the bragging bullies, wailing ‘where is the Lord when calamities keep crawling in like captains? ’. Whereas, the peace of God and the peace with God enjoy the best of fellowship in the midst of storms or floods. The authority of the Lord’s peace is more profound at the centre of the flood, as peace is less valued in the absence of storms. Therefore, what the Lord gives to His children in the midst of their storms is more valuable, compared to what the enemies take away.   “The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.” Psalms‬ ‭29‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “ Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing? ” is a familiar expression of fear from all of Christ’s disciples whenever the voices of the waters rage. Particularly, when the voice of the Lord had promised a crossover to the other side for advancement of divine assignment, productive engagement, new dawn of glory, and the manifestation of the glory of God in the lives of the people, the enemies would bring the roaring of the voices of the waters, storms, manipulation and opposition. Then, fear often takes control; and faith in the God of glory will take the backseat. One of the characters of God is easily understood through His unmistakable charisma of peace that endure in all seasons of life. The Lord is clearly unchangeable, unmovable, and indeposable; being evident through all the motions that works against His supremacy. This charisma demonstrates that genuine peace is only evident in all unsettled environment and contrary circumstances. Often times, the removal of troubles and pain is desired as the condition for an evidence of peace. Rather, God's peace is the perfect presentation of Himself, mostly wrapped within the torrents of trials and tribulation. Unfortunately, many who desire the type of peace without the God of peace are evidently uncomfortable with the face of God, as long as the winds of life blow hard against them.
