When the scriptures say all that must live godly in Christ or enjoy the salvation experience must blend the experience with suffering, many believers readily get lost in the essence of the almighty strength from God. May the King answer us when we call. ” Psalms 20 : 7 - 9   One of the horrible things about focussing on one’s personal capabilities in relationships is the subtle encouragement to commit evil without even acknowledging its feelings. Judas Iscariot was boosted by his capabilities to engage people, negotiate financial transactions, and book-keeping to engage the Pharisees and temple leaders on a conspiracy to exchange his kissing of Jesus with 30 pieces of silver. Before the feelings of the transaction was done on him, he committed suicide without repentance. Also here the psalmist remembered how Pharaoh boosted about his capabilities to organize the artillery of chariots and horses against the Israelites, even after the divine demonstration of about 10 devastating plagues to unveil the superiority...

Whereas, there is absolute freedom in the salvation from the Lord; because it is offered in the unrivaled name of the Lord. Salvation from elsewhere will often appear to be nearer, faster, and quicker; but it is always unreliable, compared to the special name of Jesus. Miscalculation of the appropriate response time for salvation from the troubles of life often lead to confusion in assessing the priority between strength and speed.‎ God promises answer to His children' call, without stating the response time. But this leaves many of God's children in the state of struggling with these promises. Even David doubted the saving strength of the Lord in the face of unrelenting trials and tribulation. Speedy salvation from troubles, without developing confidence in God's strength, was initially desirable. But God's response time, with confidence in His saving strength, was later preferred. Beyond the guaranty of salvation from troubles, God's response time is required for salvation within troubles.
