Peaceful Pleasing
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV The difference between the saving and abiding faith is the peace in the rest offered, even when hope deferred almost endlessly. That God is Omnipotent is not just in the evidence of His potency; but primarily in the assurance of His existence. But when hope is deferred, many people will be pressured to adopt different alternative options to waiting on the promises of God. Whereas, it takes an abiding faith in the existence of God to peacefully please Him; and diligently pursue His unpopular counsels to the last mile of a glorious reward.
