When a man’s heart is taught by his intelligence, aspirations and drives, he is bound to learn how to demonstrate mastery over the inevitable adversity in life, family, and society. Unfortunately, this restive race of life often lead many into depression, suicide, and death because the mastermind for adversity is centred on nothing good but theft, death, and destruction. However, when the scriptures say “ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest ( Matthew 11 : 28 )”, it implies that  the design of the Almighty God in life’s travesty of adversity is rest and peace with Him. Our world has been witnessing a series of aggression, conflicts, confrontations, and protests across different climates of economy and political landscapes of recent; and there is no assurance of rest to this inspired insurrection. But when the psalmist declares “ Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord “, it exposes the blessedness of an inspired instruction from God in the midst of this world’s inspired insurrection. This is the fundamental reason why it is absolutely impossible for anyone who is genuinely taught by the law of the Lord or inspired by His instructions to get inspired by insurrection or protests against the worldly system at the same time. The issue is no longer safety in the multitude of counsellor, but rather confusion. And now that destruction is readily packaged with the wrapper of help, ‘ holy help ’ from the Lord has become the only safe haven for those who have learnt how to trust absolutely in God. Unfortunately, the pathway to the holy help is often considered as too sluggish and unattractive to follow, compared with the fast-paced help from peer pressures, impatience, and greed.
