Ruling Rod

  “ The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!” Psalms 110 : 1 - 2 NKJV While there is no doubt that the prophetic pronouncement of the Messiah’s dominion over all the antics of the enemies is centred at the right hand of the throne of grace, all the redeemed of the Lord have the same inheritance bequeathed by grace. The arch enemy of the righteous children of God understands who he is up against the moment the mercy and the grace of God are brought in.  Unfortunately, most of us are often ignorant of the potency of our ruling rod in the battles of life. “ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool ” appears to be a simple instruction from the Lord; but no, most of us always prefer to play games with the grace of God.   “ Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth .” Psalms‬ ‭110‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ A purpose-driven life is not ruled by facts and figures. Those big data analysis and ideology cannot produce the willingness to work by faith and not by sight. And if a project is entirely driven by facts and figures, its setbacks against the challenges of life will be too great and insurmountable. Whereas, faith produces many useful heavenly resources, like grace, patience, and divine guidance. Anyone who imbibes faith in God cannot be stranded by the facts and realities of life. Therefore, when the scriptures say “ Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power ”, it speaks of divine inspiration on every believer’s associates and upon those who subscribe to faith; and not subdued by facts. It implies that whatever we are surrounded by unwilling people, it makes spiritual sense to wait upon t...
