Lifting Lord
“ The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high, He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap ” Psalms 113:4-5, 7 NKJV Everyone loves the lifting privileges and opportunities, and the Devil knows that. Unfortunately, the lifting offers from the Devil are filled with can of worms, carnage of wounds, and a channel to wastefulness. Notwithstanding, many people often love to celebrate the deceitfulness of riches and the unrighteous privileges and opportunities, at the expense of retaining the presence of the Lord. Whereas, and without undermining the accuracy of the psalmist’s confession, ‘The Lord is high above all nations ’ and ‘His glory above the heavens ’. Likewise, those who truly know Him understand that He is simply the only lifting Lord. Anyone who cares to listen should be wary of other sources of lifting, with a subtle invitation to disobey the revealed commandmen...
