God’s Glory
“ Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? ”” John 11 : 39 - 40 NKJV Generally, there is always a dividing line with a pavement of stone between great gory and God’s glory in life. However the story line suggests either the advent of God’s glory or its departure like Ichabod, the divine instruction “ Take away the stone ” remains relevant to replace human management with divine intervention. For the advent of God’s glory, Mary and Martha needed to “ Take away the stone ” of self-managing the stenches of their hopelessness.
