And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous. ” Exodus 23 : 7 - 8 KJV The reality of life is simply the fact that wisdom appears to have both the true and false sides, and often inseparable on the field of play (i.e., on family, business, social, and ministry matters). Notwithstanding, the scriptural admonition remains sacrosanct “ Keep thee far from a false matter“ . Most times, the operations with false matters are loudly celebrated to the extent that the righteous begins to doubt the faithfulness of God with His promises.
