Faith Fellowship

“ And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him .” Luke 8 : 25 KJV It is instructive to note that faith fellowship is simply about the paying attention of believers to every “ let us go over unto the other side of the lake ” instruction from the LORD. From time immemorial, this instruction has never ever missed a swift incidence of an opposing storm, wind, and wave echoing “ you dare not even think about taking a step !”. For the disciples that listened to Jesus’ instruction and stayed in the same ship with Him, the lyrics in their ‘fear fellowship’ with the storm, wind, and wave read like “ we perish, if we proceed! ”. Thankfully. Jesus responded with ‘Where is  your faith? ’, after silencing the echoes of their fear fellowship. As the scriptures declare, no one can prosper in the line of duty and attention to God’s assignment wit...

Lake Lane

“ Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. ” Luke 8 : 22 - 23 NKJV The divine instruction “ Let us cross over to the other side of the lake ” suggests the indispensability of a lake lane over which every life’s successful project must transverse to fully engage with all resources toward implementation and completion. Unfortunately, the activities within the lake lane often present intimidating obstacles and discouraging influences that turn the lake lane into burial grounds for the fearful. For the disciples on the ride with Jesus, the lake lane was overtaken by a windstorm that threatened the lives of the disciples. Since the divine instruction equally suggests that the real assignment is at the other side of the lake...

Right Relationships

” But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Luke‬ ‭8‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The response of Jesus to those who expected the cancellation of His preaching engagement for family relationships does not teach disobedience to parents. Rather, the statement teaches the combined sensitivity to the words of God and sincerity in doing His commandments as the guideline for enforcing right relationships out of all believers’ lifestyles and engagements. This sacred guideline is the antidote to the fear of man; and its consequent call to unrighteousness and sin. The fear of man brings torment, but the fear of God cancels out the fear of man. Unfortunately, when the hearts of men are plagued by the fear of man, they cannot hear the word of God; needless to think of doing it. Whereas, every believer in God is expected to extend his intimate relationship with God to all his work, family, and social relationships, including the isolation o...
