Wise Walk

   “ But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. ” 1 Corinthians 7 : 17 , 22 - 24 KJV It is important to underscore that the fundamental benefit of every believer’s response to the Lord’s call is the satisfaction of the heart with rest. True rest vacates every tendency to respond to extra-scriptural commandments and worldly ordinances. Therefore, wise walk produces the fear of the Lord, while abiding or resting only on His commandments.
