Fruitful Field
“ Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 29 : 17 - 19 KJV When a field has stayed futile for so long, it is logical for the field to be treated with disdain and as a complete disappointment. Like Jerusalem would treat Lebanon with pride and arrogance, many people would walk away from purposeful calling, relationship, ministry, and projects on the basis of their carnal assessment of futility. Whereas, the metrics for assessing either fruitfulness or futility are not in the ways of men, but by clear revelation through the words of the Lord.
