Perfect Purpose

  “ And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it. ” 1 Chronicles 28 : 9 - 10 KJV These last words of king David to Solomon are ridden with the fundamental principle of living a purpose fulfilling life, which is the pursuit of holiness. Unfortunately, life is always unfair with its subtle diversion of the hearts to the priority of happiness over holiness, even with the best of prepared hearts. Solomon was adequately prepared by king David to be successful in life, and he sufficiently guided him to discover the building of God’s sanctuary as a divine assignment reserved for him.
