Full Fellowship

“ He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked .” I John‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Fellowship and influence are common cause and effect phenomena. There cannot be true fellowship without the tested influence. And as we establish relationships with family members, workplace partners, and professional colleagues, we are necessarily impacted by their lifestyles, belief systems, and cultures until a check is placed by the  believers’ fellowship with God: Anyone who claims a full fellowship with God must be 100% influenced by Him. Unfortunately, this solemn check hasn’t gone well in almost all religious circles. Even the most religious fanatics have often claimed the form of fellowship in religious gatherings and assemblies; but people have readily questioned their will power to stand straight in difficult moments with crisis of faith. For example, when Daniel was thrown into the den of lions because of the demonstration of his full fellowship with God, even t...

Peculiar People

“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” I John‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Very important people (VIP) of this world know how to brag about their access to fame, wealth, and position of authority; but unfortunately the people with express access to the throne of grace are often ignorant about their peculiarity. God’s peculiar people are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ the Most High Priest and the Judge of the whole world. If we were saved by the lesser, perhaps there could be room for concern about perfect satisfaction of the Judge. But the Judge Himself became the propitiation for our sins to make us a peculiar people, over this world’s VIP. Therefore, we, the redeemed of the Lord, should not be catching cold when this world’s VIP sneeze; if we are not ignorant of our peculiarity. If the Judge of the whole world can be the Propitiator of our sins, then we have access to everything that can make us more famous, wealthier, and p...

Unreserved Undertakings

“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ One major setback in the line of argument from the critics of the cross is how can someone undertake to pay the supreme price of death for ‘unknown’ people. While the ‘unknown’ narrative is a misunderstanding, the undertaking is truly unreserved. Truly, all was given for all. Unfortunately, even the redeemed from the unreserved undertaking of the Lord often struggle with this lifestyle of love. When the heart is pained or embittered, the mind becomes crowded with subtle recline from the fellowship of love. Yet, just as Christ gave Himself for all at the Cross, He is willing and waiting to give Himself freely through the redeemed at every situation and circumstance. Whereas, believers’ frequent reservations have become the ‘unknown’ clogs in the wheel of Christ’s unreserved undertaking.

Love Language

“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/1jn.2.2.nkjv The question ‘why is hate easily dispensed, especially under the intention of love?’ is not complicated; and the implication simply suggest learning the language of love. God’s offer of propitiation for our sins teaches not just the sacrifice for sin but the satisfaction for wrongful act by the same person who cry for justice. He abolished the Old Testament’s demand sacrifice for sin. Although it is easier for anyone to shop for different “add-ons” as ingredients for speaking the language of love, taking the responsibility to sacrifice the totality of self in satisfaction for a call for justice is a clearer language of love. Unfortunately, many are quick to retort to finding faults when mutual relationships  breakdown. Whereas, no one can establish a long-lasting relationship with God without a long-standing commit...

Cloudy Pathway

"But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes." (1 John 2:11 NKJV) Walking daily along the path free of offense is obviously impossible in this sinful world. Rather than engaging in wishful thinking, the best strategy provides a way of accommodating offenses without getting off the track of righteousness. While darkness or unrighteousness is a common lifestyle of sinners and unbelievers, hatred among the children of light is not a reflection of the power of grace. Irrespective of its seeming legitimacy, hatred clouds the pathway of the righteous from uprightness. Therefore, it is better to accommodate possible character fraud, and walk in a clear pathway; rather than to entertain hatred, and cruise along the cloudy pathway.
