Blissful Break

“As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Busy-ness is understandably good for the generation of riches and wealth. Likewise, breaks are designed for the enjoyment of these riches and wealth. Unfortunately, the periods for breaks are often rescheduled as busy extensions for more productivity in life. Even when the schedule for busy and breaks are literally respected, the  concept of blissful break is always strange without divine satisfaction in the different schedules surrounding the believer's life. Without the power to enjoy our breaks in life, the heart will continue to engage in the busy mode, even while on breaks. If God would often look back on His day by day work engagements to assess them good or simply...

God’s Grace

The fact remains that true riches and wealth come from God. Even though the consummation of God’s riches can appear as material riches, it is wider, deeper and richer than the products of the human eyes. And on the trenches of life’s dif...

Hasty Hearts

“Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands? For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity. But fear God.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/ecc.5.6-7.nkjv Holiness and honour are often difficult to be desired simultaneously by the heart of man. While holiness thrives in the atmosphere of the fear of God, honour desires and demands the praise of people possibly at the expense of the fear of God. Before the company of fellow men, the heart of man is presumptuously tempted to focus on making the best impression on the minds of people, rather than receiving inspiration from God. Whereas, God always demand the attention of His children - to draw near to hear rather than to speak. For in the multitude of an eagerness to make a good impression, there want no frivolity. Unfortunately, hasty hearts prefer honour to hol...
