Righteous Report

  ” The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils .“ Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ When the 12 spies were selected by Moses to embark on a 40 day exploration of the Promised Land, there was no iota of doubt in their competence to come back with an honest report. Unfortunately, most of them returned with an evil report because they believed that honest report is limited by their relationship with the elements in the Promised Land. And many of life’s lessons have taught the hearts of man that those who are limited by the facts before their physical eyes can never produce a righteous report in our world of oppression and intimidation. Clear Channels

  “He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.” Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ There is no doubt that foe represents the activities of darkness and wickedness. When darkness invades, channels of opportunity and the passages for advancement will seem unclear. An example of blocked channels was the Red Sea before the children of Israel and the invading army of Pharoah at their back. And like many other unclear channels, believers are often subjected to fear and intimidation anytime they are confronted, until the revelation of the wisdom from God appears. Inspired by the psalmist’s experiences with unclear channels, the scriptures declare “ He (God) sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them ”.
