Wise Walk

“ My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: Keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, And grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, And thy foot shall not stumble. ” Proverbs 3 : 21 - 23 KJV The scriptural presentation of the concept of sound wisdom and discretion clearly suggests the prospect of falling for our weak wisdom and diplomacy. The latter is our use of the popular wisdom of the world; and many people will ply the roadmap presented by this path of human intelligence. Obviously, in this age of advances in knowledge, unlimited access to information, and social networking, there is almost no allowance to trust God for anything. Notwithstanding, wise walk remains the path of absolute trust in God or ‘faith’, especially when His call doesn’t make any sense. Invariably, FAITH or ‘Forsaking All, I Trust Him’ is the sacrifice of others’ considerations for progress and prosperity to submit to God’s commandments. Little wonder, w...

Wise Walk

“ My son, let them not depart from your eyes— Keep sound wisdom and discretion; So they will be life to your soul And grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, And your foot will not stumble. ” Proverbs 3 : 21 - 23 NKJV Reflecting on the apprehensiveness in the script of most producers of scI-tech movies with rogue artificial intelligence (AI) machines, the common denominator is always the burden of trust. Trust comes from the place of confidence and love; and faith is trust in God that transforms all our other relationships, either with machines or men. Unfortunately, faith in the highest of principals, philanthropists, princes, and politicians, other than God, cannot guarantee rest of mind. But when the scriptures say “ Keep sound wisdom and discretion; So they will be life to your soul And grace to your neck ”, it implies that it is only the sound wisdom and discretion from the Lord that can guarantee rest of mind. This is scriptural therapy against high blo...

Loving Lord

” Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.“ Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The major reason for the romances (either secret or open) with the warring lords on earth is the skilfulness in terror  bullying. Right from elementary school, bullies know how to mess around with the focus of pupils and their ambitions or interests in the great learning and recreational programs of the school. Unfortunately, the fear of the sudden terror from bullies has now eroded the confidence of not just pupils in elementary schools. This fear is eroding the confidence of public servants in the civil service, social workers in the hospitality industry, and even volunteers in Christian ministries. Whereas, the only bailout option is the securing of confidence in the Lord. As freaky as it may sound, confidence in the Lord consumes all the sudden terrors of bullies. When the scr...

Sacred Service

“Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Even though the network of evil and wickedness in this world has sophisticated secret service system, the sacred service from the Almighty is much more reliable for those who can find confidence in it. Otherwise, the fear and timidity that confronts players in any secret service (controlled by powerful personalities and principals in our economic, social, administrative, and political systems) can be nothing but the beginning of wisdom. Unfortunately, believers also have learned how to play the game against an absolute confidence in God. When we fall down for the threats of sudden terror, and quiver at the trouble of the wicked; it implies that we obviously pledge our allegiance to the world’s secret services, instead of abiding in the sacred service of God. Notwithstanding, God’s sacr...
