Triumphant Trust

“ Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. ” Psalms 125 : 1 NKJV Without messing with the fun and fist surrounding the viral meme on Wike vs Yerima, it is instructive to note the triumphant trust in following the chain of an institutional order rather than getting cow down to the mammoth of personal powers. The mammoth of personal powers often come in forms of intimidating influences, personal preferences, and compromising confrontations from principalities. Unfortunately, those who trust in the influence and affluences from personal powers must bow down to their gods and join them to play the cards of lies, corruption, and all forms of unrighteousness. Whereas, the triumphant trust in life is the trust in the truth, righteousness, uprightness, submission, and transparency, based on revelations from the Lord on all matters. While the throttling trust in lords will readily bow to the intimidation of influence and affluence from ...

Moveable Mountains

“ As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. ” Psalms 125 : 2 - 3 NKJV The natural instinct for everyone is to quack in front of mountains, especially the intimidating ones. For example, the mountains of sickness, financial crises, professional failures, economic instability, and social insecurity create fear and loss of confidence in the promises of the Lord. Invariably, whenever we are surrounded by mountains, the tendency for all of God’s people is to completely forget that they are equally surrounded by the mover of mountains. Therefore, we need to constantly be reminded like the psalmist that “ As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever “. Guess what? While our God is immovable and His promises are irrevocable, believ...

Righteous’ Rest

“ Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. ” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭125‬:‭1‬, ‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Since those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, those who trust in their own strength and abilities would readily pride themselves on being like Mount Everest. And just as being the tallest mountain on earth, trust in personal strength and abilities motivates the unrest and earthly competition among the princes and principalities on earth. This is always the Genesis of the rise and fall of kingdoms, nations, institutions, empires, and clans in our world. It is just a matter of time, Mount Everest becomes moveable. But ‘ Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion’ , which is unmovable. Why? It is not a physical mountain with finite and competitive height, might, and strength; but a trust in the infinite str...

Mountain Movers

http://bible.us/psa125.1.nkjv Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. In the awakening and rumbling of wickedness, the centre of trust finds little confidence in any anchor. And when challenges stand like mountains around the habitation of the people of God, it is difficult for anyone to stand on the efficacy of ' If thou shalt say unto these mountains... '. Mountains have often chased movers away from the hill of the Lord, running for sustenance in wrong places. But those who would dare not trust in the rumbling of their challenges can still lift up their voices and speak to mountains in their lives. Trusting in the Lord tells more about our status as mountain movers rather than the threat to God's statute towards mountain movement.
