Clear Conscience

“ Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live !”” Ezekiel 18 : 31 - 32 NKJV If a corrupt conscience is possible by commission, a clear conscience should be possible also by commission. “ …and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit” is a commission assisted by the Holy Spirit, through faith in the finished work of grace. This is the reason why no one is arraigned before God on the basis of commission of sin. God’s plan of redemption was initiated and concluded even before almost all of us have the.knowledge of sin. Therefore, “ For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who die s” suggests the fact that life’s inability to access a clear conscience is only possible by omission, NOT commission. Those who failed and falte...

Peaceful Pleasure

“ Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? ” says the Lord God, “ and not that he should turn from his ways and live? ” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ God judges sin not on the basis of His pleasure, but on the basis of His purity. Even while His eyes are purer than beholding iniquity, He will give everything to attract men into His arena of peace and love. Unfortunately, believers who found the love of God by His grace have often struggled with their pleasure for judgment and punishment for unrighteousness, especially when they bemoan the impact of sin and wickedness against personal pleasure. Do you really spend time to pray for the conversion of those who have wrongfully persecuted you; or do you softly desire their incarceration for a pleasure in vindication? To demand and delight in the punishments of offenders, even after a clear demonstration of their repentance, is unpleasant to God. Therefore, the moment any righteous believer truly believes that God does ...

Personal Pleasure

“Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Relationships without personal intimacy is just a mystic ideology, even in the abundance of physical interaction. The same understanding is valid with the expression of pleasure in the relationship between God and man. Those who believe in the existence of God understand that God created man primarily for His own pleasure. Unfortunately, the fall of man and his disobedience to God resulted in the destruction of the personal pleasure from a righteous relationship with God. And after a successful actualization of the plan of redemption, many believers still could not see beyond the pursuit of their own personal pleasures. The wicked are not just composed of the unregenerate sinners, backsliders, and those who rejected God’s plan of redemption. Those who fail to consider the relevance of the personal pleasure of God in their da...
