Greatest Getting

“ Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding .” Proverbs 4 : 7 KJV Productivity from life’s daily engagements is not usually dictated by life’s givings. No one chooses his own givings from life’s engagements; but everyone determines his own getting from life’s givings. Speaking of wisdom as the principal thing, there are numerous counts of reasons and motivations surrounding all of life’s actions and inaction. When these reasons and motivations appear great and welcoming, the general people’s getting is fellowship, fruitfulness, and fondness. But ‘the getting’ from the atmosphere with apparent hostility and envy is usually fear, fruitlessness, and failure. Whereas, God’s design for believers is not subject to the general people’s reasoning and motivations. The revelation of His words is sacrosanct. For example, when it says “ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind ( 2 Tim...

Gracious Getting

“ Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. ” Proverbs 4 : 7 NKJV If all of life’s gettings are limited to all within the capabilities of man, there should be no surprise to the cause of arrogance and pride in the heart. But no, “ And in all your getting, get understanding”. Divine wisdom and understanding are totally exclusive of all the total combinations of life’s getting through human intelligence, skill acquisition, and material accomplishments. Even in counselling sessions with the sage of this world and inspirational delivery of sermons from anointed men of God, only those whose hearts are open to the Heavenly Father will download divine wisdom and understanding. Therefore, all human efforts to advance knowledge, improve standards, and solve life’s problems are commendable. But above and beyond these commendable efforts, let the hearts be always humble enough to download divine wisdom and understanding from the real...

Wise Words

” He also taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding .“ ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The fundamental difference between the latent and sensible heat, with respect to the change of state and phase of a physical body, will never cease to amaze my study of heat transfer. While the latent heat gain by a body influences its change of phase without a change in temperature, the sensible heat gain only influences a change in temperature without a change in phase. Philosophically, many people can be drawn to the influences that are powered by sensible heat because they can easily measure a change in the body’s state with temperature differences. Whereas, true transformation and a change i...

Gracious Getting

“Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬, ‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The primary motivation in every man’s everyday activities is simply described by an action word ‘getting’ . In fact, there is no objective in any project proposal without a clear ‘getting’ statement. As a new week or new day starts, what is the proposed ‘getting’ is the most reasonable preoccupation of everyone. While the normal list includes money, material properties, opportunities, and position, the scriptures says the normal list is useless without the gracious getting…which is wisdom and the understanding of God’s words. Obviously, no man can succeed in checking this life’s normal list without the normal type of wisdom…albeit by failing into the devil’s trap with greed, wickedness, and unrighteousness. But gracious getting requires waiting for ‘every word that...
