For example, the shield of king David on his family members and associates was complicated by the engagement of his son Absaloam as the chief conspirator and persecutor. Even while pretending to sleep, the heart is often engaged in troubling talks through thoughts and visions. Whereas, the hearts of man are created to maintain a constant communion with God. As perfected or demonstrated by Enoch and Noah of old, the scriptures are filled with the accounts of those who achieved worthwhile purposes and plans through their whispering walk with God.   “I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around. Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! People often determine when the game is up on the basis of this metric; but the story is different for those whose confidence is in the Lord. When David said to himself “ I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around ”, he was taking exception to the metrics of numbers against the fear of failure and defeat. Selah Apart from its effective cleansing of the eyeballs, the tear gland provides a great expression of humility in the face of sorrow and distress. It is often said that it is not expected for kings to cry. However, King David cried to the King of kings. Unlike his type of cry, a cry to a man can be greatly disappointing and depressive. This is because help from above cannot be obtained by looking straight or down. Therefore, a healthy cry to the Lord on His holy hill takes away the burden from every heavy heart.
