Gracious Grants
“ Let not thine heart envy sinners: But be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. For surely there is an end; And thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23 : 17 - 18 KJV In our highly competitive and performance-driven world, the greedy grants from sinners do readily provoke envy, jealousy, and bitterness. Oftentimes, pay rises, workplace recommendation, family treat, professional appraisal, etc, would come cheap and clean only for compromisers; and consecrated Christians will be asking questions. It is always important to note that greedy grants are popular because they are usually glamorous, randy, entertaining, exorbitant, dreadful, and yield-enforceable. Whereas, besides appearing like losers, gracious grants require patient perseverance and waiting upon the Lord; while instant gratification will continually be popular among men.
