Walkwise Way

“I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.” I I John 1 : 4 - 6 NKJV Although “ Train up a child in the way he should go” is a fundamental principle of parenting, mentorship, and discipleship, the twisted mindset on love in our world has always preferred the adaptation “ Train up a child in the way he wants to go” . Of course, it takes discipline and determination to stand up to the truth in our broken world. And when the trainers have skeletons in their cupboards, truth becomes a bitter pill in the training sessions. Whereas, truth according to God’s commandments remain the walkwise way to the Disneylan...

Dwindling Diets

“ If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds .” ‭‭II John‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The place of good diet in the wellbeing of all humans cannot be overemphasized. And as the elder lady and her household of faith were warned by Apostle John, believers have no reduced responsibility in condoning off their premises and households against the invasion of the dwindling diets in bad doctrine, malicious spirits, dreadful infiltration, and fictitious unrighteousness. Whereas, sound doctrine is just, humble, and will readily promote the interv...

Full Reward

"Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward." (2 John 1:8 NKJV) Exchange of love represents a pleasant reward of good fellowship in every relationship. No relationship, whether friendship, marriage, social fellowships, etc, worth its salt without a cordial expression of love. However, perfect love cannot be fully rewarded with the fellowship of material things. In fact, the heart is vulnerable to carrot and stick love, especially when the truth about God's generosity is queried. Full reward of our fellowship of love is certain at the mercy seats, even when it appears the seat for mercy here is no longer available.
