Best Bond

I “For it was not an enemy that reproached me; Then I could have born it: Neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; Then I would have hid myself from him: As for me, I will call upon God; And the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: And he shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55 : 12 , 16 - 17 KJV When Jesus asked Judas Iscariot “ betrayeth thou the Son of man with a kiss?” , it merely aligned with the psalmist’s pain around the common searching for the best bond in life. Being a social animal, intimate relationships and trust are built around closeness along the bloodline, business, family, workplaces, residences, etc. Unfortunately, with an inevitable betrayal experience in relationships, many people do appear to throw in the towel on trust with hasty generalizations. Whereas, life is not to be lived with the screwed up understanding of putting the burden of the best bond on human beings, no matter the assigned ...

Sustainable Shield

“ Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55 : 22 NKJV It is not an overstatement that the work of our hands, the quality of networks we keep, and the friendliness of the societies we belong to can be a reliable shield against oppression and invasion in the family, workplace, and the society. No doubt, people join the different cults and available secret societies because of this concept of shield against economic, emotional, and social bullies. Unfortunately, the embodiment of man-made shields is unsustainable in the light of the advances in knowledge, and the burden of change in our ever-growing world. For example, if we build our shield on financial resources, we will get moved when these resources are threatened by change in government policies, change in the financial market driven by moneybags and competitors, etc. Whereas, when the righteous cast the financial burden (and all burdens for that matt...

Prevailing Prayer

” As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. God will hear, and afflict them, Even He who abides from of old. Selah Because they do not change, Therefore they do not fear God .“ Psalms 55:16-19 NKJV Every prevailing star must understand the imperative of a prevailing prayer for a progressive breakthrough and success in life and ministry. Those who are only skillful in personal relationship with men of class and calibre are readily deceived and disoriented with restricted success, at best. Whereas, the reality in life is the absence of true peace and an honest support for breakthrough outside the pavilion of the Prince of peace, progress and prosperity. The example illustrated by the children of Israel in the wilderness before their possession of the promised land is always i...

Blissful Burden

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalms‬ ‭55‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Without the glue of God’s grace, the burden and the challenges of life are designed to break any man and his vision for prosperity and posterity. It implies that a graceless man is surrounded with friends and associates, whose acts of disloyalty and conflict of interests often lead into discouragement, and despondency. But with grace, the burden is casted upon the Lord with its binding effect. Therefore, believers who are blissfully bound with the Lord through the burden and the challenges of life are mostly grateful for this opportunity. The opportunity always comes with the privilege of a sweet fellowship with the unchanging, and unconquerable God. Unfortunately, those who are always broken by burden have either never experienced or sustained by the blissful nature of a binding burden; a blessing in disguise actually.
