Messengers’ Messages

“ Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common ,” Acts‬ ‭2:44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ When the scriptures say ‘wisdom is a principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all you getting, get understanding ’, it is a common knowledge that many have often gotten the desirable wisdom in homes, works, and societal fellowship twisted. The wisdom of men will always produce nothing more than manipulating messages, borne with fake compliance, stylish deception, and cosmetic collaboration at the most. Whereas, the wisdom from God produces messages borne with the unction of the Holy Spirit. For example, the result of messenger’s messages was demonstrated by Peter, with all attendants and transformed believers  having all things (love, vision, lifestyle, and passion) in common. Unlike the diplomatic and manipulating messages that can only pose as the master’s messages, the messengers’ messages have the characteristics of speaking the mind of the Holy Spirit instead of personal opin...

Simple Salvation

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:46-47‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/act.2.46-47.nkjv Those who are genuinely concerned about the real life challenges in the business of soul-winning will always the query the cause of the difference in results between now and the early church. Even starting from the home of today’s evangelists, the concern for the missing link in the expected testimony of salvation ‘ And the Lord added to the church daily...’ is obvious. Couldn’t it be that we have always introduced the complications ‘... the evangelists added to the church daily? ’. And little wonder the absent-mindedness and the insecurity in the hearts of those who are being added to the fellowship of God’s people today. Whereas at the early ch...

Social Security

“Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭ 2:44 ‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/act.2.44.nkjv The good intention in the enforcement of socialism in the state is the breaking of selfishness and the greed in man. But whenever the public system constitutes the enforcement agent for socialism, the citizens become enslaved in fear and deprived of the  needed freedom to “ ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart ”. Whereas, the new social system at the early Church wasn’t enforced by the leadership or the apostles. It was simply a unity of purpose influenced by the Holy Spirit. Prior to this experience, the hearts of these believers were wired to believe only in their selves and pursue their own interests. True belief in God and inspiration by His Spirit break the heart from its self-centered-ness and greed. The ability to accept the role of a custodian of wealth, position, and privileges in life, while God retains the ownership p...

Breaking Barriers

“Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:44-45‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/act.2.44-45.nkjv The success rate achieved in the promotion of the concept of social ownership by the socialists is borne out of the fact that people are generally averse to economic barriers. The Commonwealth of private citizens is controlled by the state, which ensures even distribution between the rich and poor. However, people are created with pointed diversity in their cultural, religious, and political ideologies; and people naturally feel comfortable with uncompromising respect, based on their different class extractions. Notwithstanding, the barriers with the audience and the tourists in Jerusalem, who came from various nations and countries were broken by the power of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. After their conversion, the scriptures say that all whose hearts were touched ...
