Fruitful Faith

 “And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth. Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.” Isaiah 37:15-16, 20 KJV

Faith is readily tied to mountain moving, miracle making, and mighty manifestations of signs and wonders. While this definition is partly correct, a restriction to this definition is the reason why many people move around like shifting sands, from valleys to mountains and vice versa in search of this false faith. Unfortunately, many people are easily deceived into following mighty men of fake faith, instead of standing strong on God’s words. Like Sennacherib of Assyria, those who command some kind of wits’ ends are quick to demand the worship of fellow men. Whereas, fruitful faith is built primarily on every believer’s conviction about the existence of God, and His sovereign strength and magnificent capability. Compared with the display of the arrogance of the people, fruitful faith singles out God as being faithful in forthrightness, rootless with redemption, unique with understanding, intolerant with iniquities, trustworthy with testimonies, fullness in fellowship, upright with uniformity, and lavishness with love. Actually, Hezekiah prayed not for the Lord’s manifestation; but He prayed unto the Lord for the expression of his confidence and spiritual mountaineering in His presence.

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalm 1 : 1 - 2 , 6 KJV The problem with the concept of New Year resolutions is that the resolutions are results focussed, including new walkout goals, new diet habits, new relationship models for family, social, and workplace partners, etc. We know that these results resolutions are hard to keep and maintain with the best of human strategies. Spirit Sprinting
