Commanding Counsels

 “There are many devices in a man's heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19:21 KJV

Truly, there are many devices in a man’s heart, including his own personal desires, compounded by the thoughts of all strategies to circumvent the conspiracies of opposing forces. These controlling conspiracies can be so overwhelming that any man (and believer) will hardly remember that the commanding counsels in life belong to the Lord, provided by His promises and divine revelations. Unfortunately, the spirit of the new digital age, social networking and connectivity has made docile the power of “Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” Consequently, the man’s heart on earth is subverted into fear and intimidation by the enemies’ conspiracies; while the commanding counsels of the Lord are settled in heaven. Whereas, believers can keep on praying, trusting in God’s promises, and pounding on heaven’s door for the manifestation of God’s commanding counsels. And whenever any man’s heart chooses to focus on the Lord’s commanding counsels, the enemies’ controlling conspiracies will begin to fade into oblivion.

Omni- Obedience
