Prevailing Prayer

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; For they shall wisely consider of his doing. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; And all the upright in heart shall glory.” Psalm‬ ‭64‬:‭1‬, ‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The only escape from Ichabod experience in life is a prevailing prayer. Prior to this turnaround experience, believer’s prayer is often a channel for the expression of fear, anxiety, and worry. The fear of the enemy’s sagacity, strategies, and sentences is the basis for perplexing prayer, when the hearts are overwhelmed by wiles and ways of the wicked. Notwithstanding, pushing through towards “Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer“ remains the privilege of a prevailing prayer. Rather than succumbing to the voices of fear and intimidation, the redeemed and righteous believers can exercise their voices against the activities of the wicked. Prayer holds unto the promises of GOD with grace and glory. And by consistent consideration of God’s doings and compelling trust in His ways, the righteous is eternally preserved through prevailing prayer from the fear of the enemy.
