Lazy Losers

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.” Psalms 103:17-18 NKJV

Contrary to the deception of the enemy, there is no such thing as a shortcut to mercy in life. What those who ply the playground of unrighteousness get is always messes or a treat to shame, suffering, and separation from the everlasting mercy of God. But why is the unwillingness from many who failed to checkout the heaven’s indispensable treasure of mercy? Laziness and pride. The fundamental principle of the enemy’s deception of anyone into sin and unrighteousness is the offer of peanuts and pleasures to the eyes and feelings of man; to steal away the everlasting peace and pleasure from God. Lazy people do not have faith in what is not visible to the eyes and attractive to their feelings. Whereas, faith requires holding on, enduring still and digging deep beyond the surface to establish authenticity. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)”. The mercy of God and His righteousness come alive to those who draw near Him by faith; and once the setbacks from laziness and pride are crossed, they become field marshals with unstoppable authority and undeniable power of God.
